A practical way
to begin.
Good questions turn a broad ambition into something you can discuss, understand and decide on. Start with purpose. Add the practical details.

Start with what you want to do
A subject is a starting point. A goal gives it direction. Consider where you would use the learning, what currently feels difficult and what you would like to understand or attempt next. A concrete example is often more useful than a polished personal statement.
You can also begin with curiosity. If your aim is still taking shape, explain what interests you and which questions you would like to explore. There is no need to claim experience you don’t have or arrive with every detail worked out.
Make the practical details visible
Think about your available time, preferred learning format and location. Ask how much activity happens during a session, what independent work might be expected and what equipment or prior knowledge could be needed. These details help you judge whether an option is manageable.
If you have accessibility or participation requirements, mention that you would like to discuss them. Avoid entering medical information or sensitive supporting records into an initial enquiry. Agree any information-sharing arrangements directly with the academy.
Understand the proposal before deciding
Ask for the learning objectives, content, delivery format, entry requirements and expected commitment. Confirm fees, cancellation terms and any qualification or assessment details in writing where relevant. Those specifics should come from the actual proposed option, not assumptions based on this website.
An initial enquiry does not reserve a place or create an agreement. Take time to understand the information you receive and ask follow-up questions if something important is unclear.
A few useful
first questions.
Do I need to know which course I want?
No course title is needed to make an enquiry. Describe what you want to learn, why it matters and your current starting point. Ask the academy to confirm whether there is a relevant option and what it involves.
Can I ask about learning for a team?
You can send a team-related enquiry. Include the learning objective, approximate group size and preferred arrangements. Any group provision, scope, delivery format, fees and availability must be agreed directly; this website does not confirm a team programme.
Does an enquiry book a place?
No. The enquiry tool prepares an email for you to review and send. It does not enrol you, take payment, confirm a course or reserve a place. Any booking would need its own agreed details.

Bring one thing you would like to learn, one example of where you would use it, and the questions you want to ask.
